Glencar will deliver a new warehouse in Nottingham following a string of other fit-out projects.
The firm will build a speculative industrial development for property developer, Rula Developments, and real estate investor, Blackbrook.
Spanning more than 17,000 sqm, the structure will be located at the Fulwood Industrial Estate, next to the A38 and around 1.5 miles from the J28 and the M1.
Inside the job
The warehouse will have a distribution centre and offices, with a car park and 50m service yard.
Glencar started construction in April and expects the job to take 48 weeks, with the building available for occupation in April 2024.
Full scope
The firm has won several contracts in the last month for logistics and fit-out works across the country.
In the North, Glencar will deliver a £12m fit-out for Maersk at GLP’s G-Park in Doncaster, with an expected completion date of September 2024.
Wincanton also appointed the firm to fit-out a 26,000 sqm warehouse in Dublin, with the site expected to open in Q1 2024.
Glencar will build another warehouse, port-side, for UK port operator Peel Ports at Liverpool’s Alexandra Dock.
“This is the second instruction we have received from Rula Developments to date and we are absolutely delighted to back on site delivering for them,” said Eddie McGillycuddy, Glencar CEO.
