Glencar appointed to logistics fit-out in Ireland

Wincanton has appointed Glencar to fit out a warehouse development in Dublin, Ireland.

Logistics provider, Wincanton, has contracted Glencar to develop a 26,000 sqm warehouse for an international retailer at a site in Dublin, Ireland.

Work began in April, and will take an estimated 22 weeks, with practical completion expected in September 2023. 

Glencar will deliver: 

  • New office space. 
  • Sprinklers. 
  • Racking. 
  • The installation of a new security hut and all associated civil engineering works.

Logistics latest 

The firm has secured several logistics contracts in the last few months, including a project for Maersk to fit-out a 56,000 sqm warehouse development in Doncaster, worth £12 million. 

Elsewhere in South Yorkshire, the firm was appointed by Firethorn Trust to deliver the logistics scheme, Barnsley340, which is due to complete this Summer. 

Glencar will also deliver the G-Park Basingstoke development on Priestley Road for Wrenbridge and Bridges Fund Management and property investor, GLP. The site is expected to open by Q1 2024.
