McGoff Group has reported hitting turnover of £100 million – a “landmark” for the Greater Manchester business.
It follows the Altrincham construction company’s launch of a new M&E company called EdenCroft Building Services and a housing division called McGoff Housing.
Its existing group of businesses also include principal contractor, McGoff Construction, off-site specialist, Panacea Building Systems, and facilities management and fit-out firm, McGoff Group Facilities Services.
McGoff’s services include early years and elderly care jobs, private and social housing, development, construction, specialist subcontracting, and FM, as well as residential sales and lettings and asset management.
It said group revenues were derived from its “sustainable approach to development”, paired with a valuable portfolio of 15 care facilities.
McGoff’s flagship project is Downtown Victoria North, a Manchester city centre BTR development of 237 apartments, and Puma Property Finance’s 11th and largest loan into the group to date of £50 million.
The group has been managed and backed by the McGoff family for more than 50 years.
“McGoff Group are taking self-sustenance to a whole new level within the built environment harvesting our own brownfield land, self-delivering low carbon buildings, embracing modern construction techniques whilst providing much needed care and residential provision within communities through our own award-winning operating businesses,” said Dave McGoff, chairman of McGoff Group Projects.
“Being able to exercise influence over each phase of the development and operational cycle drives alignment and invariably unlocks previously unviable developments which de-risks the proposition for funders and statutory stakeholders alike.”
