The construction company, in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, has launched a new M&E company called EdenCroft Building Services and a housing division called McGoff Housing.

The new companies complement its existing group of businesses which include principal contractor McGoff Construction, off-site specialist Panacea Building Systems, and facilities management and fit-out firm McGoff Group Facilities Services.

Peter Croft joins as managing director of EdenCroft and Lee Sale has been appointed director of housing for the UK at McGoff Housing.

Croft brings more than 35 years’ experience to the role and will develop a team responsible for full M&E delivery at McGoff Group and other third-party schemes.

He said: “The self-delivery approach is really refreshing in the sector and offers far more control from within. I’m really excited to bring my skill set to the business to help continue the successful growth of the Group.”

The new housing division, led by Sale, will provide a social housing offering via partnerships, frameworks and with providers delivering for local authorities and Registered Social Landlords (RSLs).

Sale, who has worked for Bellway, Wates and Lovell Partnerships, will initially be working on current and future McGoff schemes in Herne Bay, Bovington, Congleton and Glossop.

He said: “I am delighted to be part of this new division and support the McGoff Group in the creation of affordable housing for those who have low incomes, special needs, or other disadvantages.”

Group managing director, Dean Johnston, added: “My key focus is to build on the extensive track record the business has successfully garnered over the last 50 years.

“We offer a unique, vertically integrated approach, and I want to continue to bring more expertise ‘in house’ ensuring sustained future growth.

“I am delighted to welcome Peter and Lee onboard and look forward to seeing these new divisions to our business flourish.”
