Tilbury Douglas has appointed a new regional operations director.
David Thompson will be working in regional building in the North East for the Exeter contractor.
Thompson has more than 25 years of experience in construction and was previously divisional managing director at Tolent Construction and regional director before that.
He also worked as group operations director at Meldrum Group, and project manager at Interserve.
He studied construction management at Northumbria University.

It follows the appointment of Lucy Davies as social value and sustainability director.
John Gittins, managing director – Building North at Tilbury Douglas, said: “I would like to welcome David to the business and team. I am confident that with his strong local reputation and connections with customers, consultants and the supply chain in the North East market, he will help to further grow the region and develop it into the future.”
