Ideal candidate:
- Experience in journalism, including relevant training/newsroom experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong news sense and understanding of how to pitch a story
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- A curious nature and can-do attitude
- Demonstrable interest and understanding of the industry
- Demonstrable knowledge of social media use, including finding stories and SEO use
- An ability to meet deadlines
Duties:
- Reporting to the Editor – pitch ideas, write stories, populate and send daily newsletters
- Help grow our Editorial offering – demonstrate range in story writing, inventive headlines, clever use of SEO and social media
- Identify and report key issues impacting the sector, now and in the future
- Help us improve our editorial processes by identifying and solving problems

- Up to £23k per annum (plus annual bonuses)
