How are contractors reducing supply chain risk?

We interview Mathew Duncan, CFO of Tideway.

The project is at the SEGRO V-Park Grand Union development, in Park Royal, on behalf of property investor SEGRO and developer St. George which is part of Berkeley Group.

Glencar built a 134,500 sq. ft flexible light industrial space over six storeys, on a 1.7-acre plot.

The scheme supported 500 jobs and apprenticeships during construction, it said.

The contractor delivered more than 100 parking spaces on the ground and first floors and units of various sizes on the upper levels, with meeting rooms, breakout areas and wellness spaces, and a green roof terrace.

The wider Grand Union development, of which the build is part, has 10.2 acres of publicly accessible landscaped gardens, a community centre and health centre, local supermarket, and other on-site amenities.

Glencar CEO, Eddie McGillycuddy, said: “As we stand here today against the backdrop of this incredible new building, it is with an enormous sense of pride and accomplishment that we can admire what Glencar and our exceptional team have delivered.

“Being the first multi-storey urban logistics building of its kind to be developed in the UK, Glencar is honoured to have been entrusted by esteemed clients St George and SEGRO to successfully deliver this project.

“Its construction quality, sustainability measures, and flexible design are pioneering, maximising collaboration across multiple levels and featuring contemporary amenities.”
