The Clancy Group has expanded its senior leadership team ahead of a major programme.

Daniel Tonkin. (LinkedIn).

As the new operations director, Daniel Tonkin will lead Clancy’s contracts for South West Water (SWW) as it prepares to deliver a £2.6 billion package of works over the next five years and beyond.

His previous role was contract director for Morrison Water Services where he worked for nearly nine years, and before that he held similar positions within Mace and Balfour Beatty.

The company also said it is expanding its wider workforce, including construction and project managers, surveyors, and engineers as well as commercial team members and other operations roles over time.

“We have been busy preparing to mobilise the contract which will see our teams deliver SWW’s pipeline of projects across clean and wastewater networks in Devon and Cornwall,” said Clancy.

Adding: “We have several exciting and challenging projects that we are currently finalising the designs on and are making preparations for a start on site in June 2024.”
