The company is partnering with client McLaren Construction on the 10 Spring Gardens project in St James’, who was hired by The Crown Estate in November last year.

10 Spring Gardens was constructed in 1975 for the British Council who occupied it until 2021, but the building had until recently been left vacant.

McLaren and Kane are delivering 80,000 sq. ft of workspace, distributed over ground floor, basement and eight upper storeys.

Designed by Orms Architects, the refurbishment will also retain more than 90 per cent of the building’s structure and façade.

The Crown Estate is targeting a NABERS 5* rating, EPC A and BREEAM ‘Excellent’.

“We’re incredibly honoured to be entrusted with the M&E refurbishment of 10 Spring Gardens,” said Daniel O’Rourke, Kane bid manager.

“This project aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering exceptional value and innovative solutions within the commercial sector.

“We look forward to collaborating with McLaren Construction and exceeding expectations for Crown Commercial Services.”
