Willmott ‘tops out’ at £70m regeneration project

Willmott Dixon has ‘topped out’ at a £70 million regeneration project in Peterborough.

The company is currently delivering the Indigo development in the city centre, on behalf of local housing association Cross Keys Homes.

It has received £12.5 million grant funding from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority and will provide 315 affordable rented homes across two connected wings, as well as two commercial retail units.

The first properties will be ready for occupants later this year.

“It was fantastic to celebrate the topping out point of this flagship regeneration project with key stakeholders and project partners,” said Willmott Dixon director, Dan Doyle.

“Many towns and cities are currently going through transformations. We’re pleased to be playing a part in Peterborough city centre’s transformation and working with Cross Keys Homes to help provide high-quality, affordable housing.”
