Bids open for £3bn London housing framework

The London Construction Programme (LCP), on behalf of Haringey Council, is procuring for a new major works framework specialising in housing and residential schemes, valued at £3 billion.  

The scope of works will include new build housing, Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), planned maintenance, retrofit, fire safety works, refurbishments and adaptations. 

The new framework, which replaces the existing LCP major works framework due to expire in October, will run from August for five years and be available across nine Lots to any public sector body in London and the Home Counties. 

Tenderers may bid for more than one Lot but only two out of the three available value bands.  

  1. New Build £5 million to £15 million contract value  
  2. New Build £10 million to £25 million contract value  
  3. New Build £20 million+ contract value  
  4. Single Stage tendering £5 million+ contract value  
  5. MMC £5 million+ contract value  
  6. Passivhaus or equivalent £5 million+ contract value  
  7. Planned maintenance and fire safety works £1 million+  
  8. Retrofit, refurbishment and adaptations  
  9. Multi-use £1 million+ contract value 

The LCP currently has a membership of 60 London and Home County public sector organisations. 

The deadline to register an interest is noon on 4 April.
