Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC) has appointed GRAHAM as principal contractor for the first phase of its Lakes Estate Renewal Project in Bletchley.
The two-stage design and build contract, valued at £70 million, was procured through Pagabo’s Major Works Framework.
With planning approval granted in 2022, the project will overhaul the area built in the 1960s and now in need of renewal.
Phase A involves construction of 183 new homes and local facilities including a nursery, community hub, and two retail units.
