Bull steps into the role following the retirement of Paul Thain, previous MD of the division.

Bull has more than 30 years’ experience leading delivery of complex multi-disciplinary infrastructure programmes and major projects in various sectors, including water, highways, rail and marine.

His previous roles include being a senior partner at Arcadis, as well as several years as its UK Water Sector lead, during which time he also served as a board member on the Welsh Water Alliance and South West Water Alliance.

Prior to Arcadis, Bull spent 25 years with Costain, progressing through several senior leadership roles.

He said: “I am really looking forward to joining Tilbury Douglas at what I believe to be an exciting time for the business. With the brand’s strong heritage, it is well positioned for future growth.”

Craig Tatton, chief operating officer at Tilbury Douglas, added: “We are pleased to welcome Andrew to our highly experienced team, which continues to deliver critically important projects.

“Looking ahead, we will focus on maintaining and improving our high-quality service and delivery for our customers across the UK.

“We would also like to wish Paul Thain well as he enters his next chapter.”
