Three top jobs filled at Cardo Group

Housing maintenance specialist, Cardo Group, has announced the appointment of three new company directors.

Alex Crewe has been appointed chief finance officer (CFO), Simon Will as executive director, and Ben Marsden joins as chief information officer (CIO).  

Crewe was previously a commercial finance director at international facilities services provider, OCS Group. Prior to that the chartered accountant was with BDO in Mergers & Acquisitions.    

Will was previously managing director at United Living Property Services, overseeing a £270 million business. Prior to that he was national operations director at Kier Places and director of property services at Circle Housing. 

Marsden is a long-term associate of LCB Group, Cardo’s platform company, where he has overseen implementation of the subsidiary’s works order management system, intranet and Cyber Security Plus credentials.

Cardo Group was formed when social housing contractor, LCB Group, was sold by its founder, Liam Bevan, now CEO of Cardo Group, to private equity firm Buckthorn Partners.    

It was started to support social housing providers with compliance, retrofit, maintenance and decarbonisation services. 

Bevan said: “Alex, Simon and Ben have all had impressive track records throughout their careers. I am delighted to welcome them to Cardo. They bring with them the perfect mix of the right financial, commercial, systems and delivery experience.
