Construction Wave is proud to announce the promotion of the publisher’s head of editorial, Rory Butler, to the role of editor effective immediately.
Rory joined the publisher more than one year ago as senior journalist and quickly became head of the editorial department.
He is a professional journalist with a background in national, regional and local news gathering and reporting, as well as B2B.
Rory’s reporting specialisms also include manufacturing, business, finance, M&A and takeovers, policy and regulation, politics, and government, as well as news and investigations.
As editor, he will be responsible for shaping and driving the editorial strategy at Construction Wave, boosting readership and subscriptions, training and managing journalists, and supporting the vision and growth ambitions of the senior management team.
He said: “I’m delighted to be promoted to editor and look forward to driving the editorial vision and expanding our reporting into new sectors that complement our existing title.
