Alison Brough joins from Willmott Dixon where she spent nine years in various regional and national environmental management roles, more recently heading up the environmental division.

As group environmental manager at Willmott, Brough was responsible for shaping and structuring environmental management systems, a focus she now brings to Caddick.

She also previously worked for more than a decade at environmental consultancy RSK, in a range of sectors including industrial, offshore and nuclear.

In her new role, she will work with the operational and pre-construction teams across Caddick’s key regions in the North East, Yorkshire, North West and Midlands.

Also supporting the group’s subcontracting specialists, Caddick Civil Engineering and CCL Facades, Brough will develop new systems to drive environmental performance, developing best practice and procedures.

Her role underpins Caddick’s ESG strategy and drive to be net zero by 2040.

Brough said: “I am really excited for the new challenge at Caddick; it is a fantastic business that is at a pivotal point in its growth journey. There is so much talent, ambition and expertise within the business, and I’m really looking forward to playing a part in the group’s future and to helping shape our environmental strategy as we grow.”

Paul Dodsworth, Caddick group managing director, added: “Caddick Construction Group is in a period of steady sustainable growth, and to make that successful we need to interrogate how we do things and embrace change. Welcoming Alison to our business represents another important step in our expansion strategy to ensure that as we grow, we enhance our performance across the board – for our people, our clients and our communities.”
