Phil Venn has been promoted from his previous role as a design delivery manager for the engineering team.

It follows Kay Denham’s promotion to engineering director last month.

Venn has more than 20 years’ experience in the water sector including on-site installation, project management, technical design and design management.

Reporting to Denham, he will work with the engineering leadership team to facilitate the delivery and success of the business’ function.

Venn said: “I am looking forward to joining the ELT to help continue the growth and success of engineering.”

Denham said: “I am delighted to have filled this position internally, demonstrating our people-orientated culture of developing talent from within. We all welcome Phil into his new role as we continue to deliver our Source to Sea Strategy at this exciting time within our business.

“Our new engineering structure will enable us to maintain the high-quality services and operational excellence that our customers expect, particularly as we set ourselves up to meet the demands of AMP8 and beyond.”
