Turner & Townsend (T&T) has been appointed to help deliver airport operator daa’s Capital Investment Programme.

Daa chose T&T as its integrated delivery partner for works at Dublin Airport and Cork Airport, as well as its international portfolio, as part of a five-year framework.

It follows the firm recently being appointed as a main supplier to London Luton Airport’s (LLA) project management services framework.

Following regulatory approval in 2022, daa’s Capital Investment Programme will see the sustainable development of Dublin Airport as an international hub, ensuring it has the capacity to connect Ireland to key existing and emerging global markets.

Supported by AECOM, Arup and Wilson James, T&T will enhance daa’s existing in-house infrastructure capacities.

It will also provide programme management, commercial management and technical services for daa’s wider airport portfolio.

This is alongside the ongoing delivery of daa’s Capital Investment Programme 2020+.

T&T, AECOM and Arup have supported daa with planning, environmental and project delivery on its capital investments over the past 20 years, including the delivery of Terminal 2.

“Our team supported by AECOM, Arup, and Wilson James has a proven track record of successful partnership at Dublin Airport, Heathrow, Abu Dhabi, and other global airports,” said Vincent Clancy, T&T chairman and CEO. “With our talented teams of technical experts, we are ideally placed to support daa as it moves into the next phase of Capital Investment Programme 2020+.

“daa’s vision for the airport will place it amongst the world’s most advanced in terms of the sustainability of its infrastructure and the overall experience for passengers.

“We are looking forward to taking our collaboration with daa to the next level at Dublin Airport, Cork Airport and across its international portfolio.”
