Utilities consultancy expert Chris Trew has joined the firm’s Specialist Services leadership team.

With more than 35 years of industry experience, Trew is highly adept in the cost planning and commercial management of infrastructure and utility services.

He said: “I am thrilled to join Turner & Townsend alinea and eager to hit the ground running. The prospect of working on a diverse range of projects and with a wide client base is incredibly exciting, and I am confident that my expertise will contribute to driving the business forward. I have known many of the leadership team for some time, and I am excited to join the business so soon after the merger. It feels like a great opportunity to be a part of something special.”

The appointment aligns with the firm’s commitment to becoming a data-led, digital cost consultancy and leader in the economics of sustainability.

Iain Parker, head of London cost management at Turner & Townsend alinea, said: “We welcome Chris to the team, recognising his extensive knowledge, insight and experience as valuable assets which will enhance our market expertise.

“This appointment further demonstrates our determination to achieve our vision of becoming the go-to data-led, digital cost consultancy and leader in the economics of sustainability.

“In a market where utilities and their infrastructure pose both significant challenges and opportunities, Chris’s unique knowledge and experience will help us deliver for our clients.”
