Senior hires at Core Highways Group

Core Highways Group has strengthened its senior management team.

Jenny Moten has joined the company as regional managing director, arriving from Cadent where she was northwest network director. 

Moten was previously a business director for Amey, leading delivery of a £2.7 billion 25-year PFI for Birmingham City Council.  

She also spent 12 years at National Highways where she held the roles of regional operations manager for the Traffic Officer Service, asset delivery manager and programme director.   

Charlie Cornish has been appointed Group chairman.   

He has held executive and director roles at various companies, including West of Scotland Water, Thames Water, United Utilities, Manchester Airport Group, Plessey Telecommunications, British Aerospace and ABF.   

Also, Dan East has been promoted from his role as commercial director at group company Amberon Traffic Management, to win work director.
