Daniel Singh, Steve Dewberry and Gordon Megahy have been promoted to board director.

The promotions follow Chris Acton taking the reins as Clancy’s new CEO earlier this year.

Singh was appointed divisional director in August 2021, tasked with leading the civil and structural engineering team in the Manchester office.

He has secured some landmark projects, in particular large complex developments across the Greater Manchester region which are cutting edge in terms of integrating sustainable design.

Dewberry joined the business in March 2020, overseeing the MEP Manchester team as divisional director and has led projects across both public and private sectors.

He brings extensive knowledge and skills around sustainability and decarbonisation.

Megahy joined Clancy’s Glasgow office as part of the acquisition of DBM Consultants in 2021 and he has specialist expertise in structural timber frame solutions, and in timber kit design, Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), and glulam and cross-laminated timber design.

He and his team predominantly work on new build and extensions in the residential, education, student living and healthcare sectors.

“It’s with great pleasure that I announce these promotions,” said Acton. “Since day one of joining, Daniel, Steve and Gordon have made a considerable positive impact to the business and I’m excited to see them play a significant part in shaping the strategic future of Clancy alongside myself and the other board directors.”
