VINCI Building appoints new Midlands regional director

VINCI Building has announced a new appointment to its senior team.

Tony Grindrod has been promoted to regional director for VINCI Building Midlands. 

He has worked for VINCI Building for more than four years, during which time he was also contracts manager.  

Before that, Grindrod held senior positions at Sisk, BAM Construct UK and Taylor Woodrow. 

He studied construction management at The University of Salford.  

Grindrod previously led delivery of the New Victoria residential project in Manchester. 

John Roberts, managing director, said: “Tony’s appointment will enhance our business, ensuring we continue our strong presence within the Midlands.” 

VINCI Building’s Midlands region currently has an annual turnover of £80 million. 

It projects include the reconfiguration of Birmingham Airport, the residential regeneration of Perry Barr, the new Harborne Hospital at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital site, and the Catalyst building for Staffordshire University.
