FM Conway buys Flowline saving 164 jobs

FM Conway has acquired drainage specialist Flowline saving more than 160 jobs. 

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) were appointed as joint administrators of Flowline, renamed F (Realisations) 2023 Limited, on Friday 5 May. 

The deal secured ongoing employment for all Flowline’s 164 staff who have now transferred to FM Conway.   

Flowline in Rayleigh said its business operations are continuing as usual. 

“Immediately following their appointment, the joint administrators successfully completed the sale of predominantly all of the company’s business and assets, to FM Conway Limited,” said PwC.  

“The sale has secured the ongoing employment of all of the company’s c.164 employees who have transferred to the new business as part of the sale and the company will continue to trade and operate as normal.” 

“At 2.57am on 5 May 2023, FM Conway acquired the trading assets of Flowline Ltd, thus enabling the business operations to continue as a division of the FM Conway Group,” said Flowline. 

Adding: “We would like to reassure you that day-to-day business operations are continuing as usual as we continue to deliver the high level of service that Flowline is renowned for.”
