The new base is at Wakefield 41 Business Park, Yorkshire, and will be named Calder House referencing the firm’s former headquarters at Calder Grange, Knottingley, where it has been based for 45 years.

The building received a £3.8 million renovation to modernise and improve its sustainability features including EV charging points and solar panels, and increase its size from 11,000 sq ft to to 15,000 sq ft housing 130 employees.

The launch of Calder House follows the release of Caddick’s recent annual results, which saw turnover rise 38 per cent to £318 million with a profit of £7.4 million for the year ending August 2023.

It also follows the company’s expansion in the North and Midlands.

In May, Caddick appointed Steve Ford as regional managing director for Yorkshire and the North East.

The company also opened new premises in Birmingham as well as appointing Ray O’Sullivan as regional director for the Midlands in September 2023.

It also made a series of senior appointments last year in an effort to strengthen the business’ regional expertise as it continues plans to expand across the North.

The office will also house group’s facade specialists, CCL Facades, established in 2022.

The design team included DLA Architecture, commercial fitout specialist, Design Tonic, civil and structural engineering firm, Roscoe, and engineering consultancy, CSD, with a range of locally-based supply chain partners also contributing.

Paul Dodsworth, construction group MD at Caddick, said: “We are undergoing an exciting period of change; we are growing in size and stature, but we are also determined to enhance our reputation for delivering high quality projects whilst ensuring the family ethos and feel is retained.

“Our people and clients deserve an office that represents Caddick Construction Group, a place to do business that is energised and sustainable.”
