Construction consultancy McBains has appointed a new director to its Building Services Engineering division.
Grant Harden joins the firm from construction consultancy CalfordSeadon where he held the position of partner, having previously worked at MLM Group (Sweco) and Inviron.
A member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Harden has more than 40 years’ experience as a building services engineer and an extensive project portfolio and technical knowledge including a specialism in electrical building services design.
McBains said Harden’s arrival will strengthen its position as a provider of integrated design services.
Harden said: “I’m incredibly excited to have joined McBains and look forward to collaborating with my colleagues from across the business to secure new project opportunities and deliver first-class inter-disciplinary performance.”
Rolfe Jackson, head of Building Services Engineering, added: “I’m thrilled that Grant has joined us to strengthen the Building Services Division’s management team and to assist in the further expansion and development of the division, supporting both myself and Chris Stevens.”
