Stantec names next CFO

Engineering design and services company Stantec has named its next chief financial officer (CFO).

Vito Culmone joins from MDA Space where he has worked for three-and-a-half years in the same job, succeeding Theresa Jang, who previously announced her plan to retire from Stantec.   

He said: “Stantec is recognised around the world as a leader in engineering, architecture and professional services.  

“I am honoured and eager to be joining such a storied company.  

“The legacy and potential of Stantec are unparalleled, and I look forward to collaborating with the team to propel our growth during this dynamic period.” 

Culmone brings more than 35 years of financial leadership experience across various industries including aviation, telecoms, fleet management, and most recently aerospace. 

He began his career at management consulting firm Price Waterhouse, where he became a chartered accountant. 

Culmone will join the business in mid-July and officially assume the CFO role on 3 September.
