The rapid expansion of RSK Group since January

RSK Group has expanded its ecological and engineering capabilities with two new acquisitions.

It has just acquired Essex-based Southern Ecological Solutions (SES) and 4AP-Geoteknik in Hadsten, Denmark. 

SES has 52 staff specialising in ecological, arboriculture and landscape design consulting services. Clients range from large multinationals and conservation charities to smaller projects for homeowners. 

4AP-Geoteknik specialises in land-based geotechnical services and owns and operates three vehicle-mounted drilling rigs. Its clients come from within the construction, housebuilding, engineering, utility, industrial and public sectors.   

RSK also recently acquired temporary site service company WysePower, market research agency BMG Research, marine geoscience consultancy Hydrofix, tree and vegetation management firm Treefellers Ltd, mineral exploration and ground investigation contractor Irish Drilling Limited, and technical facilities management and energy solutions firm Richard Irvin FM 

All these acquisitions happened in the last three months.  

RSK, a construction and engineering company based in Helsby, now comprises around 180 companies, employing around 11,000 people and growing.     

Its annual turnover at the end of FY22 was £796 million.
