Beal Homes has been given the green light to bring more than 500 new residential properties to the south bank of the Humber.
The 57-acre site is set to provide two, three and four-bedroom homes for the town of Immingham, which plays a key role in the Humber’s growing status as a “magnet for investment”.
The family-owned housebuilder is now accepting registrations for the launch of the development, which is to be named Highfields.
Highfields is set to cost £105 million and projected to feature a total of 525 homes alongside areas of public space including two children’s play areas, on a site off Stallingborough Road.
The town is already home to schools, leisure, retail and health facilities along with a host of employment opportunities on the doorstep, with the south bank of the Humber the headquarters of blue-chip businesses like Ørsted, Phillips 66, Centrica and Wren Kitchens.
Chris Murphy, land director of East Yorkshire-based Beal, said: “We’re delighted to have gained planning approval so we can move forward to delivering these much-needed homes in North East Lincolnshire.
“This development is a major vote of confidence in the area which has a strong pent-up demand for new homes as well as potential for further growth, driven by major investment on the south bank of the Humber.”
Beal sales and marketing director, Sue Waudby, said: “We’re expecting demand to be extremely high.”
