Caddick secures Wolverhampton industrial development

Caddick Construction has been awarded the build contract for a new industrial development in Wolverhampton.

Inside the deal: Staffordshire Pension Fund hired the contractor to build a 100,000 sq. ft manufacturing, storage and distribution warehouse at Vernon Park off Junction 1 of the M54. 

The £12 million contract will start this month and includes the base-build, a two-storey unit, access roads, hardstanding, car parking and landscaping. 

Other features include dock leveller equipment, fire escape staircases, lifts and ancillary spaces as well as internal MEP services.

Vernon Park adds to Caddick’s Midlands portfolio alongside Urban Splash and Places for People’s Port Loop development in Birmingham. 

It also complements the firm’s industrial developments portfolio across the North and Midlands, which includes projects on behalf of Network Space and property investors Chancerygate.
