Keltbray has officially moved into its new headquarters in London as the engineering and construction business prepares to expand into new growth areas under fresh leadership.

The Surrey-headquartered contractor has chosen 80 Strand as its new base of operations, complementing its other office locations in the capital as well as those in Glasgow, Bathgate, and County Antrim in Northern Ireland.
The new head office reflects Keltbray’s ‘bold ambitions’ and a new chapter, Keltbray said.
Back in August, Keltbray announced Karl Goose as its next chief executive, to lead the business through a transition period after which it intends to operate as a specialist asbestos removal contractor, to improve its position within highly regulated markets and on complex projects.
The company will become focused on handling highly regulated waste products within the construction sector, by training its own workforce and relying on its own internal design team.

As part of “revised operating procedures”, Keltbray also transferred most of its assets and liabilities to its subcontractor partner Keltbray Built Environment, as part of a group reorganisation, with interest rate exposure now sitting within that company.
Goose, who spent 18 years at Ferrovial, most recently as the construction division’s managing director, will succeed Vince Corrigan in December, who is retiring after a decade as chief executive.
The new CEO brings a wealth of experience having also previously worked at Amey and Balfour Beatty, leading major projects like Heathrow’s Terminal 2 and Thames Tideway.
Despite recent financial setbacks, including a £13.8 million loss for the year ended October 2024, Keltbray remains focused on long-term growth, with Goose’s appointment marking a key step in its plan to navigate ongoing challenges.
Bosses said despite the contracting businesses accounting for most of Keltbray’s revenue, its workload mix is changing to include more residential and infrastructure projects “over and above” its more established commercial base load.
Keltbray’s Built Environment (KBE) business recently returned to profit after taking a more ‘rigorous’ approach to project selection, prioritising quality of earnings over sheer volume as well as shoring up its operational strategy.

“We’re delighted to share that Keltbray has officially moved into our stunning new London office at 80 Strand, a true London icon,” Keltbray said.
“This move is more than just a change of address, it marks a significant milestone in our journey and reflects our bold ambitions.
“We’re excited to begin this new chapter, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll build together from our new HQ.”
