Arcadis UK has returned a “satisfactory” financial performance, underpinned by a robust order book and encouraging pipeline of future work in the sustainability sector.

For the year ended 31 December 2024, the construction design and consultancy firm returned a pre-tax profit of £5.8 million, compared to £8 million the year prior, underpinned by revenue of £66.6 million (FY2023: £86.5 million).
This translates to an operating margin for the year of 8.8 per cent (FY2023: 9.2 per cent).
“The turnover of Arcadis (UK) Limited decreased in 2024 compared to 2023, this is due to the mix of new contract activity and less of a share taken by Arcadis (UK) Limited compared to Arcadis Consulting (UK) Limited,” bosses said.
Looking to its balance sheet at the end of the 2024 financial period, the company held net assets worth £60.8 million, a slight increase on the £56.5 million reported the year before.
Arcadis is also enjoying a solid order book and “promising pipeline of opportunities”.
