McLaren Construction announces leadership shake-up within Midlands and North division

editor

McLaren Construction has announced a series of leadership changes within its Midlands and North division.

L-R: Adrian Barnes, Luke Arnold.

Adrian Barnes rejoined McLaren Construction in July in the role of regional strategic director, Midlands and North, having spent nearly six years as regional director at Stepnell, managing its Rugby business operating in areas along the M1 corridor.

Before that, he spent close to five years as a director at McLaren, where he oversaw £200 million in turnover while leading the London pre-construction team.

In 2014, Barnes left Morgan Sindall after 13 years of employment, latterly as area director.

He will now help strengthen the Midlands and North region’s approach to frameworks, two-stage procurement, and public sector projects, while McLaren maintains its position in the industrial and logistics space.

Barnes said: “I’m excited to rejoin McLaren Construction in a region that’s already performing exceptionally well but also has huge untapped potential.”

Elsewhere, Luke Arnold has been promoted to regional director. Since joining the business last year, he has supported managing director Gary Cramp in managing the Midlands and North division.
