Northern Ireland-headquartered Pure Fitout has announced a new appointment to its senior leadership team.

Paul McKenna joins the business as managing partner, bringing more than 30 years’ experience delivering office projects for Fortune 500 companies across Europe.
In 2002, McKenna founded County Down–headquartered mac-group which, from its humble beginnings as a local interiors firm, he grew into a multi-national construction and fit-out business that today operates from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses solely on the Middle East market
Between 1995 and 2002 he was construction director for Structuretone, with overall management for projects in Ireland.
Pure Fitout bosses described McKenna as an industry “disruptor”, focused on high standards, delivery and results, as well as long-standing client relationships.

Pure Fitout was recently diverted from administration thanks to a new strategic investor, whose deal included the purchase of sister company HALT NFR.
The investment secured the future of the business and more than 100 jobs, following a challenging period where the business faced significant financial strain due to substantial unpaid invoices from key clients.
Pure Fitout recently moved into a purpose-built factory in Belfast with in-house joinery and metalwork fabrication capabilities, bringing all its brands under one roof, as the business targets growth within the “fast-track” corporate office fit-out market.
The business also has a new office in Dublin, from which it is delivering The Dion rooftop venue at Central Plaza, the Dean Townhouse extension and refurbishment, and several other office and hospitality schemes.
McKenna said: “This is an exciting time to be joining Pure Fitout Group. I’ll be working with a strong senior management team committed to driving the business forward.
“We’re seeing growing demand for offices that offer a more relaxed environment – with cafés, lounges, breakout areas, gyms, and leisure facilities. These are areas where we already excel.
“My goal is to build on this momentum: expand our client base, strengthen delivery methods, and work closely with our teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.”
