Though turnover for the year ended 30 September 2024 fell to £8.7 million from £10.7 million the year prior, pre-tax profit rose to more than £10.2 million, from £6.4 million achieved in FY2023.

Gallagher Group said turnover was reduced due to a decrease in operating costs, so re-charges to Gallagher Group companies came down. The business declared operating profit for the year of £249,113, compared to £348,142 in the previous financial period.

The group entered the 2025 financial year with a strong order book and a robust level of tenders, reporting in its most recent financial accounts: “We remain the go-to contractor in Kent and the Southeast due to our quality, service and technical abilities; overall we remain optimistic.”

At the year end, the Aylesford-headquartered business had net assets of £3.1 million (FY2023: £3.1 million), with improved cash reserves of £1.5 million, compared to £966,897 in 2023.

A dividend of £10 million was declared and paid to the parent company during the year (FY2023: £6.1 million), with a further £8.5 million paid in December 2024.

Gallagher Group declared profit for the year of £9.9 million, compared to the previous trading period where it amassed an end-of-year result of £6.1 million.
