HD Hyundai Construction Equipment and HD Hyundai Infracore will merge under a new company named HD Construction Equipment, with a combined revenue of (USD$6.15 billion).

The newly formed entity will operate under two brands: HYUNDAI and DEVELON, with its core business in construction equipment, supported by engines and aftermarket services.
Bosses said the merger is a response to “intensifying competition and global uncertainties”, ensuring cost competitiveness.
The company aims to achieve revenue of USD$11 billion by 2030, positioning itself as a global industry leader.
HD Hyundai Construction Equipment will be the surviving entity and officially become HD Construction Equipment on January 1, 2026.
Cho Young-cheul, president and CEO of HD Hyundai XiteSolution, said: “This merger will drive sustainable growth for the Construction Equipment Division of HD Hyundai, helping us strengthen our position in the global market and serving as a significant milestone in advancing Korea’s construction equipment industry.”
