Starting July, the newly created role will see Bastible lead the firm’s UK investment banking and equity placement services.

Bastible joined the commercial real estate services and investment firm nearly two years ago as managing director within the investment banking team.

Prior to that, he was a partner at global real assets advisory firm, Sera Global, which CBRE acquired in 2023.

His experience also includes senior roles at wealth management firm, UBS where he was its managing director, Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking where he was director, and as associate director at Avestus Capital Partners.

I’m pleased to be taking on this new role within CBRE,” Bastible said. “The Investment Banking team has a remarkable reputation, and I look forward to leading the team as we continue to leverage off our dominant capital markets position, enabling us to provide an exceptional investment banking service to our clients

CBRE’s real estate investment banking advisory division provides strategic advisory and financing solutions across public and private markets.

The team offers clients real estate advice combined with access to global institutional capital, with services spanning M&A advisory, equity placement, secondary LP trading, and investment strategy.

Bastible’s appointment reflects CBRE’s continued investment in strengthening its capital markets capabilities.
