MEP specialist, SES Engineering Services (SES), has announced record financial results and plans to expand its offsite manufacturing capabilities later this year.

In 2024, the company saw turnover increase by 55.3 per cent to £463.7 million from £298.6 million the year before, supported by a pre-tax profit of £9.3 million, up 60.2 per cent.
At the year end, SES declared a forward order book value of £1.2 billion, up by £510 million on the year prior, which it said provided a ‘solid foundation’ for the future.
This result was in part due to SES expanding into new markets, while nurturing existing ones including life science, commercial, industrial, leisure, and the public sector.
During the year, the MEP specialist developed its operational capabilities alongside the integration of new offsite and technological services, by restructuring its engineering business into three regions – North, Central and South – providing national coverage from seven offices.
“In line with our purpose, we’re reimagining the future of technology in construction,” said executive managing director, Rob Clifford. “Through sustained investment in advanced digital engineering, smart technologies and offsite manufacturing, combined with striving for excellence in delivery, we are positioning ourselves to become the most profitable and sustainable engineering and technology business in UK construction.”
The company’s offsite team operates from a 6,000 sqm facility in Coventry and another in the northeast, with a third facility opening in Walsall later this year.
