Galliford Try’s education team has been strengthened by the appointment of two framework directors, as it continues to expand its influence in the sector.

Dan Rackham, who has been promoted to the role, and Natasha Broomhead, who joins the contractor from BAM Construct UK, took on their new roles this month.
Rackham, who joined Galliford Try in 2023 as a senior bid manager, has been promoted to framework director, bringing with him 10-years’ worth of experience working on Department for Education (DfE) frameworks.
Meanwhile, Broomhead joins with more than 15 years of experience in the industry, having previously worked at BAM as a framework manager and commercial lead for national frameworks.
The announcement follows the news of an ‘impressive’ set of half-year results with increased profit and revenue as it progresses with its 2030 Sustainable Growth Strategy.
Their work will expand on the projects already undertaken so far, including the £6.4 million expansion of Brentwood School in Sale, and the £30 million new Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Royal Greenwich.
Claire Jackson, education director at Galliford Try, said: “Dan’s promotion and Natasha’s appointment reflect our ongoing commitment to strengthening our leadership in the sector.
“With their combined experience and expertise, we are well positioned to continue delivering outstanding, client-focused solutions for schools, colleges, and universities across the country.”
