Former Galliford Try boss to head up new residential remediation specialist

Errigal Sustainable Solutions (ESS) has launched as a main contracting business, specialising in building safety remediation to the residential market, and supporting Errigal Group, a provider of façade, fit-out, and cladding solutions.

The business will be led by Ray Toft, who joins as managing director with more than 30 years’ industry experience, having formerly held a similar role at Galliford Try Partnerships, Vistry Partnerships and Countryside Partnerships. 

ESS will focus on partnerships with local authorities, housing associations, housebuilders and third-party providers, to deliver new-build homes as well as remediating existing housing stock. 

Toft said: “With a senior leadership team that brings considerable main contracting experience, we’re committed to redefining what Partnerships really mean. 

“Our strong team has a proven track record in delivering mixed tenure housing and building remediation, with an unwavering focus on safety, quality, customer service and sustainability.” 

Based in central London and operating across the UK, ESS aims to grow its regeneration and compliance portfolio.
