M Squared managing director, Kerr McEwan.

The deal comes as M Squared recently hit a £10 million revenue milestone for the first time, coinciding with the company’s 10-year anniversary.

Bosses are now targeting £25 million in turnover by 2027, alongside growing its workforce to more than 125 people through organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

“We’re delighted to confirm our investment into such a well-respected business with a highly skilled workforce,” said M Squared founder and MD, Kerr McEwan.

“This investment represents an important development as we continue to build the in-house capabilities of our team ahead of a significant period of growth expected over the next 12 months.”

EBS, also in Glasgow, has been delivering all aspects of structural repairs, stone masonry and building restoration works across Scotland for more than 50 years.

Company directors, David Sinclair and Brian Ticcioni, will work with M Squared to build on its extensive client base in target markets.

Sinclair said: “After 30 successful years, partnering with a confident and progressive company like M Squared marks a pivotal moment for EBS.

“We’re confident their proven track record and shared commitment to delivering exceptional project outcomes for clients will drive our next 30 years of growth.”
