Network Rail has named a group of suppliers it has commissioned to deliver design and engineering services over a multi-year framework, valued at £300 million.

The Development and Design Partnership Framework (DDPF) aims to provide services and works for routes covered by Northern Powerhouse Rail (NPR), Integrated Rail Plan (IRP), and Network North (NN) and the Eastern region.
The chosen suppliers will provide a range of services from professional development, design, technical, and services to deliver engineering stages 1 to 5
The initial term of the DDPF is five years with an option to extend by yearly increments up to a further three years.
The scope of services for each commission called off from the framework will be multi-disciplinary and may include Buildings & Architecture, Civils & Structural, Consents & Environment, Constructability, Cost Planning, Electrification and Plant, Geotechnical, Signalling/Train Control, Surveys (including ground investigations), Systems Engineering, Telecoms, and Track.
The suppliers are:
- Amey OWR
- AtkinsRéalis/Arcadis Consulting
- Mott MacDonald/WSP
- SYSTRA/Arup
