Building envelope specialist Bailey has acquired The Parkside Group including its Comar architectural aluminium systems and Axim hardware brands.

Bailey’s building envelope offering now includes aluminium window and curtain walling systems, raising its capabilities in the construction sector, it said.
Founded in 1975, Horsham-headquartered Bailey started as a flat roofing specialist to today offering design and manufacturing services for aluminium façades.
It said the addition of the Comar and Axim brands is part of its growth strategy.
Bailey confirmed the acquisition will not affect customer service from either business, adding existing relationships will remain unchanged.
“This acquisition marks an exciting development in our commitment to providing the highest quality building envelope solutions,” said Daniel Gilmore, CEO of Bailey.
“By bringing Comar and Axim into the Bailey family, we’re strengthening our capability to serve our customers with an even broader range of products and expertise.”
Peter Dziurzynski, managing director of Comar & Axim, added: “Joining Bailey opens exciting new possibilities for the Comar and Axim brands.
“We look forward to combining our strengths to deliver enhanced value to our customers across the construction industry.”
