Morris & Spottiswood is set to achieve turnover of £265 million as the group celebrates its 100th year.

Following a series of strategic acquisitions, the group said the recent addition of the ISG Retail team will contribute £100 million in turnover across the next 12 months.
The end-to-end services provider now comprises nine specialised businesses, operating from 10 locations across the UK.
Its services include construction, fit-out, retrofit, refurbishment and M&E, as well as architectural services, maintenance, space development and furnishing, and carbon reduction solutions.
M&S was founded as a modest joinery workshop in Glasgow by WWI veteran George Morris and his friend John Spottiswood.
From humble beginnings on the company’s first project – a new post office for the village of Arrochar – the Morris & Spottiswood of today is delivering major projects throughout the UK including a head office for Lloyds Bank in London.

“Our recent growth demonstrates our ability to recognise and act on opportunities that align with our values,” said Jon Dunwell, CEO.
“From our earliest days working on Glasgow’s schools in the 1930s to our current leadership in sustainable construction and carbon reduction solutions, we’ve always believed in maintaining the highest standards of transparency and compliance.
“Crucially, our people have always been our most valuable asset and we’re looking forward to our next 100 years – working together as one group and one team.”
