The Department for Education (DfE) is seeking to establish a new £15 million construction framework, as the existing Construction Framework is set to expire later this year.

The scope of the framework is to design and build construction works for the national education state.
The existing construction framework (CF21) is valued at £7 billion with 23 firms attached and is set to expire in November 2025.
The contractors across the three value bands of the existing framework include Willmott Dixon Construction BAM Construction Kier Construction, Wates Construction, Galliford Try, Building and Bouygues UK.
The new Construction Framework will have a term of six years, with an option to extend for an additional two years (one year plus one year).
The purpose of this Preliminary Engagement Notice is to outline Market Engagements complete, Upcoming engagement activity and our expected procurement go live date.
