LGW Group latest acquisition will ‘boost’ turnover

Concrete product supplier LGW Group Limited recently acquired Multi-Crete Concrete and Concrete Pumping Limited.

The acquisition will boost LGW Group’s combined turnover to more than £40 million, said national law firm Freeths which advised on the deal. 

LGW, which has operations across South England and Wales, has a portfolio which also includes: 

  • Wright Readymix 
  • Bristol Brick Co 
  • Prodeck-Fixing and Mexboro 

Based in Gloucestershire with operations in the Forest of Dean and Wiltshire, Multi-Crete specialises in concrete supply and pumping services.

In addition to Freeths overseeing the deal, the shareholders of Multi-Crete were advised by Hopson Solicitors. 

“The addition of Multi-Crete to the LGW Group adds new service lines and strengthens its existing house of brands, positioning LGW as a leading regional player in the construction industry,” said Edward Chapman, corporate managing associate at Freeths.
