Bidding has opened for an up to £1 billion decarbonisation partnerships framework, set to run for four years.

The South East Consortium (SEC) is tendering a framework for Decarbonisation Partnerships which will run for four years, subject to review.
Successful suppliers will have the opportunity to be awarded regional contracts through direct selection or mini competition.
SEC Procurement requires tenderers base their framework pricing on working in Greater London, defined as within the boundary of the M25.
The framework is specifically designed to align with the ‘Strategic Partnerships fund’ which is designed for partnership contracts to be made between customers and suppliers that create a single solution to be delivered by a partnering contractor.
There will be £500 million available within the strategic partnerships fund as advised by government for the financial year of 2024/25.
There may be additional funding streams dependent on government initiatives in the future.
This follows the consortium opening bidding for a £330 million fire remediation works framework in conjunction with the decarbonisation framework.
This is be a one-off contract, and there will not be the availability for renewals.
SEC recently named 30 contractors appointed to a £740 million Internal and External Building Works framework, including VINCI Facilities, Mulalley and Company, Wates Living Space, and others.
Bids are due back by 11:00am on 16 April 2025.
