Glencar has been appointed as the main contractor for the design and construction of a 73,000 sq ft industrial development Tottenham, North London.

Appointed by Valor Real Estate Partners, the project will deliver two logistics units including ancillary office spaces, service yards, and car parking.
The Tottenham development aims to deliver sustainable facilities that ‘meet the evolving demands of the industrial sector.’
The project will involve:
- Site preparation
- Groundworks
- Sustainable waste management practices
- Incorporate S278 highway improvements to enhance site access
It has been designed to achieve a BREEAM “Excellent” rating and an EPC A+ energy performance certificate, to meet Net Zero Carbon targets outlined in the London Plan.
Key Features include:
- Unit 1 – 59,641 sq ft warehouse with integrated CAT A-fitted office space.
- Unit 2 – 12,174 sq ft warehouse with supporting facilities.
- high-efficiency LED lighting
- roof-mounted photovoltaic panels
- water-saving technologies.
- thermally efficient cladding
- triple-skinned roof lights
- green roofs for cycle shelters
- EV charging stations
Site infrastructure include:
- external works
- improved access routes
- S278 highway upgrades
It will also use locally sourced materials and indirect job creation, to help investment in the regional economy.
The project will finish in Q4 2025.
Greg Wright, operations director at Glencar, said: “This project not only aligns with the stringent environmental standards required by the London Plan but also showcases our commitment to supporting local communities through job creation and engaging with the local supply chain.”
The project adds to Glencar’s growing orderbook, as the company recently laid out a target for growth in their latest trading update.
In December, Glencar was appointed to build a new 135,000 sq. ft (MLA) six-storey flagship store for Big Yellow Self Storage, valued at £18 million.
