GRAHAM has been appointed to deliver the first phase of a major regeneration project in Leeds valued at £100 million.

Clarion Housing Group’s development arm, Latimer, has hired the contractor to construct the first buildings of the Dyecoats development on Kirkstall Road.
The mixed-use project is being built at a 13-acre brownfield site on the River Aire.
Phase One includes 434 residential properties (100 affordable rent; 138 shared ownership; 196 private sale).
Other features include a food hall, public realm and a north-south connection across the river.
The wider Dyecoats development will deliver up to 1,799 homes.
“This appointment also celebrates Dyecoats being one of the first new-build developments to receive Building Safety Act Gateway 2 approval, showcasing our deep understanding of the gateway process to deliver the highest standards of safety and quality in construction,” said Jonathan Hall, MD at GRAHAM.
GRAHAM has also just been appointed to deliver Stage Two of the £332 million Didcot and surrounding area major infrastructure (HIF1) scheme.
Its procurement for the Design and Construct projects was through the Crown Commercial Service’s Construction Works and Associated Services framework.
Before that, the civil engineering specialist finished the M2 Junction 5 improvements scheme for National Highways, which began in June 2021 under the Road Investment Strategy.
Its centrepiece is the new Stockbury flyover, a nearly mile-long structure built using 1,500 bespoke Reinforced Earth RECO panels.
