The scheme, awarded by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), will see four Junior Ranks buildings constructed with ancillary facilities and car parking.

Each building will contain 69 bedrooms over three floors to accommodate personnel at the base near Scopwick.

The buildings have been designed to be as carbon efficient and sustainable as possible, said Galliford.

“We have a strong track record in providing this type of facility to the Armed Forces and look forward to ensuring the personnel receive the high-quality, modern living quarters they deserve,” said Bill Hocking, CEO of Galliford Try.
