Construction engineering giant Altrad has completed two new acquisitions – including the assets and operations of a leading hoardings specialist.

Altrad completed the purchase of Stork TS Holdings Limited on 1 February, which holds the Stork UK group of companies.
Stork UK, a more than £230 million-turnover business, provides operational, maintenance, turnaround and modification solutions to its clients’ assets.
Altrad said the deal was a “transformational step” in its strategic development in the UK, both offshore and onshore.
John Walsh, Altrad CEO for the UK, Ireland, Nordics & Poland, said: “We are delighted to welcome Stork UK and its 1,900 talented people into the Altrad family and are looking forward to seeing them grow and develop under our broader Altrad organisation.”

Also, Altrad Generation, a provider of non-mechanical equipment to the construction industry, has announced the acquisition of Heras Mobile Fencing in the UK.
“This strategic move will significantly expand Altrad Generation’s presence across the country and bolster its capabilities in the supply of temporary fencing and steel compound hoarding solutions,” a company statement reads.
Altrad Generation has gained six additional locations throughout the UK, expanding its existing network of 32 branches.
In the coming months, Heras will be rebranded to align with the Altrad Generation corporate identity.
However, Heras will continue to operate and supply permanent fencing or security under the Heras brand.
